After a week of episodes on his YouTube channel, the format launched by the Prime Minister is struggling to gain traction. He hopes to revive interest by inviting the French to contact him directly.

Probably because he heads a government that is dangerously close to the edge of the cliff, François Bayrou thought he would lose nothing by trying to answer the question, however rhetorical it may seem.
To speak "directly" to the French , hoping to convince as many people as possible of the urgency of the country's economic situation and, therefore, of the efforts he considers necessary to get out of it. And to swallow the bitter pill of the 43.8 billion euros of savings in the 2026 budget , which will be discussed this autumn; an explosive political object that the opposition already swears it will seize to bring down the centrist government, established in December 2024.
